Performing a PIN Pad Test

Use this function to initiate a PIN pad test to test the internal or externalPIN pad.

OTE: You can also access this function by Merchant Functions, 9, 4, and pressing or touching Enter.

To perform a PIN pad test:

NOTE: The Idle prompt may vary depending on the

terminal and its configuration.

If the option you want is not on this screen,

touch + on the terminal display for additional

menu options.

The terminal initiates an auto-detection of the PIN pad type for

30 seconds.

displays the Idle prompt. If the terminal fails the test, please

contact your Client Services manager.
